With practical panels, success stories, investment tips, and networking opportunities, this morning is dedicated to strengthening the innovation bridge between Portugal and Brazil.

Opening Night of Web Summit Rio takes place on Sunday, April 27, at the Riocentro exhibition and convention centre. 

Speakers include Amauri Soares, Head of Globo Studios and Globo TV at GLOBO, and Paddy Cosgrave, CEO of Web Summit. 

Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with great speakers, games, networking, and more. It’s all happening at Riocentro. 

Doors open at 4pm, and you’ll need to be registered and have collected your wristband and lanyard to enter. 

Please be aware that Centre Stage has limited capacity and is likely to fill up early, but the full Opening Night experience will be happening throughout the Riocentro exhibition and convention centre.

Strategies to overcome the challenges of deep techs [Hosted by FINEP]

Seven of the most promising startups will battle it out in the group rounds of PITCH. In this round, seven startups will fight for a chance to move onto the semi-final. Competing startups will have three minutes to pitch, followed by a three-minute Q&A with our judging panel.
