Web Summit is “where the future goes to be born”

Politico said we run “the world’s premier tech conference”, the Atlantic that Web Summit is “where the future goes to be born”, and Reuters that we assemble “the biggest names in tech and business”.

Web Summit Rio, coming in May 2023, will join the roster of international events organized by Web Summit, taking to the world stage alongside Web Summit in Lisbon, Collision in Toronto and RISE in Hong Kong. Web Summit events have gathered half a million people across Web Summit in Lisbon, Collision in North America and RISE in Asia since the company’s beginnings as a 150-person conference in Dublin in 2009. Our mission has been to create software that improves conferences and enables meaningful connections between the CEOs, founders, investors, politicians, cultural figureheads and members of the media who are reshaping the world.

Why will 15,000+ people gather in Rio de Janeiro?

Three reasons: incredible speakers eager to share expertise, unparalleled networking opportunities with entrepreneurs, and proprietary software that will maximize your experience.

South American tech is on fire, and Brazil is probably the hottest startup country in the world right now. It’s time South America had its own global gathering of the tech community. And we think there’s no better city to host it in than Rio.
