With our Latin American event less than a week away, take a look at some of the top investors already connecting with our startups on the Web Summit Rio app.

Our second-ever South American event is nearly here, with more than 600 investors set to attend.

Poli Angels

Founded in 2018, based in São Paulo and returning to Web Summit Rio, Poli Angels is an organisation focused on supporting early-stage Brazilian tech startups.

To date, Poli Angels has partnered with AWS and Great Place to Work and invested in 30 startups including Jade Autism, Lamego and Bynd.

BR Angels

Founded in 2019, BR Angels is a private, non-profit organisation made up of more than 250 CEOs and entrepreneurs focused on promoting the development of startups. 

Headquartered in São Paulo, BR Angels supports 6,000-plus startups annually and has more than 80 strategic partners including PWC, Volkswagen and Amazon Web Services. BR Angels were also present at Web Summit Rio 2023. 

Vox Capital

Vox Capital is an impact investment management firm that offers financial solutions that drive positive social and environmental transformation.

Founded in 2009 and based in São Paulo, Vox Capital focuses on investment in innovative technologies.

Vinci Partners

Vinci Partners is a Brazilian alternative investment platform that specialises in asset management, wealth management and financial advisory. 

Founded in 2009 and based in Rio de Janeiro, Vinci Partners has invested R$3 billion since its inception in various sectors across Brazil.  This will be the first year that Vinci Partners has attended Web Summit Rio.

Kaszek

Headquartered in Brazil and founded in 2011, Kaszek is a venture capital firm that partners with entrepreneurs to build and support technology-based companies in Latin America. 

In addition to capital, Kaszek provides insights in strategy, operational execution, team-building, growth, technology, product development, networking, fundraising and more. The firm is industry and stage agnostic, investing mainly in seed, series A and series B companies. 

Seedstars

Founded in 2012, Seedstars is a global organisation with a mission to impact emerging and frontier markets through technology and entrepreneurship. 

Headquartered in Geneva, the investment firm operates across Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Central-Eastern Europe, and Asia.
