Join us at Web Summit Rio’s inaugural Opening Night as we welcome some of the defining figures in tech and society from Brazil and beyond to the stage.

Our lineup includes Black Lives Matter co-founder Ayọ Tometi, Globo’s Luciano Huck, Amazonian activist Txai Suruí, Globo’s Maju Coutinho, Nubank's David Vélez and Mayor of Rio Eduardo Paes with more special guests to be revealed on the night…

Opening Night festivities kick off at 4pm, and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy some of the finest flavours of Brazilian cuisine – and perhaps even a caipirinha (or two?) – before our Center Stage sessions begin at 5:15pm.

Opening Night seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Capacity is limited so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The exhibition floor is not open to attendees on this day.
