Inspiring a new generation of tech enthusiasts
The world of tech continues to evolve through fresh perspectives. Web Summit Rio’s scholarship program, in partnership with Stone, will unite up to 300 young people — students and recent graduates alike — demonstrating an ambition to be part of a community looking to change the future.
Successful applicants will get full access to Web Summit Rio, three jam-packed days of learning, connection opportunities and fun.

What’s happening?
Our scholarship program, in partnership with Stone, is about letting young people power their own development and build connections with like-minded students. We will give away a free event ticket to select applicants that we define as an ideal Web Summit Rio scholar. Attendees will enjoy hundreds of talks, masterclasses, and networking sessions, as well as access to the event floor.

The event floor is a hive of activity. Meet representatives of the world’s biggest companies, check out tech demonstrations or grab food from our vendors and soak in the experience.
What happens when I apply?
Ticket applications will be reviewed
Our criteria favours young people undertaking a degree of any level, based in South America and who demonstrate qualities such as entrepreneurial drive or an interest in tech.
Successful applicants will receive their ticket via email
If you’re one of the lucky applicants, we’ll issue your complimentary ticket to Web Summit Rio to you via email.
Accept your ticket, and we’ll see you in April!
All that’s left to do is for you to accept your scholar ticket and start planning everything you want to achieve in an action-packed few days in Rio come April.
