This year, more voters than ever before will go to the polls in at least 64 countries, representing almost half the world's population. That means AI, tech regulation, internet freedom, disinformation, cybersecurity and deepfakes are back on the agenda. For journalism, the stakes are high for improving public trust from an all-time-low score.
